Amber has covered breaking news, Hurricanes, Tornados, COVID-19, crime, politics, and more within Florida, Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. She most recently worked as a Reporter and Anchor at CBS 12 News in West Palm Beach, FL.
Amber has previously worked as the Evening Anchor for Fox Illinois News in Champaign, IL. She also worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer for KHQA News in Quincy, IL. Before her time at KHQA, Amber worked as an Anchor, Reporter, Producer, Digital Producer, Production, and Desk Assistant for KOMU 8 News in Columbia, MO.

Amber studied Convergence TV Reporting and Anchoring and Political Science at the University of Missouri.

Her best characteristic is her ability to build rapport with her subjects. She makes every person she talks to feel comfortable so the conversation is genuine and the moments are candid. Her love for reporting makes her strive to be the best journalist possible.

In her spare time, Amber enjoys reading, attempting to play guitar, cooking, and cheering on her Missouri sports teams! One of her favorite things to do is play fetch with her dogs. She also enjoys volunteering at local animal shelters (even though she wants to take all the animals home)!
